Armin van Buuren at Industry City

On May 16, 2026, Armin van Buuren played Industry City in Brooklyn, produced for East Meets West and Zero Productions. It was one of the largest productions Low Res has delivered.

The brief. Take the show’s lighting design and make it work in a venue it wasn’t drawn for. Low Res handled production design and production management — translating the designer’s intent into a buildable plan for the space: positions, rigging, power and the sequence of the build.

The site. The stage sat in a pit within Industry City’s courtyard. Every case, truss section and fixture had to come in and go out through tight access, so load-in and load-out were planned as carefully as the show itself.

The scale. 192 lighting fixtures and a dozen vendors, planned in one week of pre-production, then built, run and struck in sequence. Audio was delivered by Ashley Systems.

The result. Production ran fully under Low Res’s supervision from first truck to last case out — delivering the designer’s show intact in one of the city’s most demanding spaces.
